Expect Up Day Tommorrow

1. TRUE RANGE-DM BUY TNA
2. CLOSE-TYPICAL PRICE BUY TNA
3. CHANGE IN CLOSE TO NEXT OPEN * RAW MONEY FLOW BUY TNA
4. TNA CLOSES UP THROUGH UPPER DEMA WITH VOLUME > 26 MILLION: BUY TNA
The first signal is related to J. Welles Wilder's ADX. Wilder started with a concept called True Range (TR), which is defined as the greatest of the following:
Current High less the current Low
Current High less the previous Close (absolute value)
Current Low less the previous Close (absolute value)
The TRUE RANGE-DM BUY TNA signal looks for a rising true range over a 2-day period along with certain cut-off values for DM+ and DM-.
Directional movement is positive (plus) when the current high minus the prior high is greater than the prior low minus the current low. This so-called Plus Directional Movement (+DM) then equals the current high minus the prior high, provided it is positive. A negative value would simply be entered as zero.
Directional movement is negative (minus) when the prior low minus the current low is greater than the current high minus the prior high. This so-called Minus Directional Movement (-DM) equals the prior low minus the current low, provided it is positive. A negative value would simply be entered as zero.
The Typical Price = (High + Low + Close)/3. The second signal utilizes a rising typical price for 2 days.
Gene Quong and Avrum Soudack utilize Raw Money Flow for their Money Flow Index. Raw Money Flow = Typical Price x Volume. The 3rd signal utilizes a 2 day rise for this parameter.
