For the 2008/2009 NDX chart, purple dashed lines represent the two peaks of Complex $NASI Tops. The RSI(9) generally peaked at that time (purple arrows). The blue arrows are downticks in the $NASI and green arrows are upticks. For the 1937/1938 DJIA chart similarly color coded double arrows are drawn. RSI data were used since $NASI charts for the 1930's cannot be located.
